This item is to purchase and accept a public sewer easement and real property from James 110 Investment, LLC, for the City’s Airport Trunk Main Phase 2B Project.

 

Background

 

The City of Prescott is currently in the process of constructing the Airport Trunk Main in the area south of SR 89A and east of SR89.  As part of the project engineering process, it has been determined, that in order for the City to access, construct, and maintain the Airport Trunk Main, a sewer easement and real property acquisition are needed from James 110 Investment, LLC.

 

Financial Impact

 

The purchase price of $24,800 for the sewer easement and $15,200 for the real property acquisition where determined by negotiations between the City and James 110 Investment, LLC, using recent City purchases for similar acquisitions in the vicinity of this project as a guide.  The City’s total acquisition costs will be $40,000 plus normal escrow and title fees.
